Above looks there are many practical reasons for having your windows tinted, for example UV and Heat protection. At South Coast Tints we understand that and thus we are now able to offer a quality professional installation at a very affordable price.

So how can we do this?
Our window tinting team are trained in a very unique way. There is no need to remove any windows for a start and we have templates for most vehicles ready and waiting. We have up to three skilled installers working on your vehicle at anytime (Just like your local hand car wash center).

For example; A new 07 shape fiesta can be window tinted in just 12 minutes with two of our highly trained people, this is a fact. Not all cars are that easy, that’s just one example. We can and do turn most installations around within an hour.

So how does a South Coast Tints service compare to a Bargain Tints Service?
The main points to notice are that Bargain Tints use a cheaper film, this cheaper film still has all the UV and Heat Protection required and comes in the popular shades as a choice.

Hi Reader...Now-a-Days anybody can go out and buy a window tint kit or buy a roll of film and thus the nature of the window tinting industry and the quality of installations varies greatly between providers, making it difficult for you as the consumer to know what makes a good tinting installer and whether you are getting value for money.

As professionals South Coast Tints regularly see inferior tint installations brought to us by customers of companies which do not meet our high standards in both application and aftercare. We are often asked to remove these sub-standard tints and reapply window film, meaning additional cost for these customers.

Although it can be described as an aftermarket fit, this should not mean quality should be sacrificed. South Coast Tints prides itself on providing a finish which is almost indistinguishable from factory fitted glass.

Many inexperienced tinting companies may leave you with an application which initially looks good on the surface, but after it has had time to cure and dry, results in an unsightly finish and un-happy customers.

It is true that there are many different ways to tint vehicle windows, some people take all the door panels off the car, leaving squeeks and rattles as you drive and some less professional/experienced remove your windows. Tint Contamination
Often understanding what constitutes a good job is difficult, but one area is clear ‘Avoid any contamination’, which is easier said than done!

Contamination is dirt, lint or small air born particles that get trapped underneath the film during the installation process. The image below shows small white particles that detract from your tint job. When these dry it can cause bigger problems, like the bubble that has come up in the centre of the screen. All areas of our applications from side windows to difficult saloon rear windows undergo substantial quality control before the vehicle leaves the tint bay. All installations are completed in our purpose built tint unit that undergo strict dust controll, to minimise contamination to offer you a premium installation.

Hope this is ok didn't want to bore you with the whole saga!

I recently had the misfortune to suffer an attempted break in to my car! The perpetrators tried unsuccessfully to gain access by smashing the passenger door front window, I say unsuccessfully, as due to the security film I had carried out by South Coast Tints recently, instead of smashing the window, the glass shattered and stuck to the coating keeping the window intact and the contents of my car safe and no bits of glass everywhere! A product I would strongly recommend!
